Mar 15, 2009 – more Mountain Spirit
Taken while it snowed even more!
While guests slept-in, enjoying their suites at Mountain Spirit, early birds were enjoying yet another mad March pow day. The spirit wandered down to the quad chair at 8:30am to be first in line for the express chair lift. After patrollers, of course, the spirit had first chair (third time this season). In this case the early bird got fresh tracks… for hours.
Where were all the spring break visitors this morning? I mean, there were crowds of people on the ski hill yesterday…!
Oh I know… the Stemwinder was open late last night and had an awesome band playing so maybe the after effect of some spirits, of another nature, kept them off the hill until 11a.m.! Thanks folks!
As I type, it’s still pow-ing outside. Methinks another powder day is on the cards tomorrow…
